I haven't forgotten you guys!
I've been working on getting samples made of every color so I'll have everyone covered that wants to try some samples. I'm sorry I haven't responded to emails, trust me, I haven't forgotten you! I will respond as soon as I'm prepared to start shipping.
Thank you for your continued interest and support!

Its a NEW year!
This is going to be a crazy year! I'm so excited since I will be launching Chinovi Cosmetics in the next couple months!!
Last night, instead of going out with our friends, we stayed home since the bf was recovering from the nasty cold thats been going around. That gave me some free time that I fully took advantage off. I do sort of feel bad for not spending the whole night with Ling.
I took the time to come in to my office/lab and work on my company. I'm reformulating the base I use when I decided I wasn't completely pleased with the previous one I had been using. I also took the time to create samples of every color. So far, I'm almost through the A's... this is going to take a little while.
While I was creating, Ling stepped in to the room (he said he was bored... that NEVER happens) and he watched me for a few minutes and had me explain how it works (bases, micas, oxides, etc) and after I showed him, he told me he was very impressed and proud of me for learning all that stuff (it's simple really) and having to drive to create something with it all. That made my 2011 complete!!
He stopped back in later, and was looking at the labels I had made for the sample baggies. He didn't say anything, but I saw him looking with those marketing eyes of his (that's his profession). He started to walk out of the room and I took advantage of him and asked what he would have done different. He named a couple little things, mostly involving sizing and spacing. I reassured him that the next batch of labels will be to his liking. It's nice have free marketing around here! He really has been a tremendous help!
Then I decided to break out the pink moscato champagne at 11. We sat in front our TV and watched the Las Vegas parties and countdown. It was actually a good night even though we didn't go out.
Now, back to Chinovi.
I am hoping to launch in the next few months... definitely first quarter of 2012. I would love to have some people try out some products for me and help me with honest feedback. I will send out 10 packs of samples, free of charge... first come, first served. Right now, I only have eyeshadow available. Blushes and bronzers still need to be reformulated. If you are interested, please email me at info@chinovicosmetics.com with your information. Feel free to give me an idea of what you like (blues, greens, neutrals, etc).
What are things you like in your indie makeup companies?... What do you feel is fair pricing?... How do you like your samples?... etc.
